What to Bring to Adolescent Treatment Center
St. Joseph’s has strict requirements regarding personal items. Please review the information below for a list of required items, allowable items, and inappropriate items.
Public transportation (bus and train) allows two bags per person maximum. Please pack with this allowance in mind.
Required Items to Bring:
These are the items that you are responsible for bringing in and providing for yourself. If you are unable to do so, please speak with admissions to discuss accommodations
*Seven shirts at most
*Shirts for working out (no cut off/muscle shirts)
*Seven pants at most
*Pants for recreation/working out
*Sleeping attire
*Two pairs of sweatshirts/hoodies at most
Seven pairs of undergarments at most (underwear, socks, bras)
Jacket/coat
Three pairs of shoes at most (this includes outdoor shoes, sneakers for recreation, shower shoes)
Glasses/contacts/contact solution
Body Wash/soap (alcohol free)
Shampoo/conditioner (alcohol free)
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Deodorant (no aerosol allowed)
Hairbrush/comb
Razor
Shaving Cream
Nail clippers
Education materials (laptop, textbooks, etc.)
* These items will be reviewed for appropriateness before given. These items can not have any references of drug/alcohol glorification, promoting gang involvement, inappropriate or derogatory messages or writing. These items should be appropriate in size and fit.

St. Joseph’s is a completely tobacco-free and smoke-free campus. We offer a patch for smoking cessation upon arrival. An appointment can be made with our doctor to be prescribed Chantix if necessary.
Medication Policy
Do not bring any over-the-counter (OTC) medications with you.
Bring your prescription medications in their appropriately-labeled bottles.
A Medication Administration Record (MAR) is a mandatory requirement
