Admission to Adolescent Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment:
Admission to St. Joseph’s Rose Hill Adolescent Treatment Program is voluntary, regardless of the age of the adolescent, they must agree to be in treatment. Once enrolled, we provide comprehensive treatment services to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders as well as substance use with co-occurring disorders (such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety) without regard to age, sex, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, national origin, or source of a referral.
Our effective addiction treatment model builds on our successful history, incorporating extended stays, personalized plans, gender affirming care with a collaborative team approach to support lasting recovery.
Flexible, Individual Treatment
Our team, including master-level licensed clinicians and a clinical psychologist, provides consistent and appropriate counseling and support through a range of mental health services.

Co-occurring Conditions
With our experience in treating the many mental health conditions that can occur parallel to addiction, we take a holistic approach and treat the "whole person" to help build resiliency and promote recovery.
Our residents receive a comprehensive history and physical, including their medical history. Primary care is provided by an ABMS Board-certified Pediatrician, with oversight from our Medical Director.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Treatment
Rose Hill is designated as an LGBTQ+ Affirming program by NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports. Utilizing SOGIE (Sexual Orientation Gender Identity Expression) recommendations we support a client’s right to self-identify while providing connections to external LGBTQ+ community partners and resources.

Reoccurence prevention is a crucial aspect of addiction treatment that involves developing coping skills and strategies to prevent a return to substance use or compulsive behaviors after achieving initial recovery.

St. Joseph’s Rose Hill aftercare planning is a critical aspect of addiction treatment that involves developing a personalized plan to support continued recovery and prevent reoccurrence after completing following an episode of treatment.
Aftercare Planning
We offer academic and vocational support, individualized reintegration, and a range of programs such as high school tutorials, GED prep, job training, and online college coursework to foster success during recovery.

Our outpatient treatment program has locations in Franklin, Essex, & St. Lawrence Counties. All offer intensive case management, assessment, and individual & group counseling for addiction.

Open Access Center
A stigma-free setting to begin a discussion about treatment. An addiction-related crisis can occur at any time. Certified Recovery Peer Advocates and clinical staff will actively listen.
